I know, I know...I am in the States for almost three months now and there has still been no blogpost on Burgers, so here it is. The reason for this slightly delayed post, is me simply not wanting to write about all the burger chains and burger places I tried, which were rather just average.

'Georgetown Cupcake' - Better than 'Magnolia Bakery' ?!
- Well, I think that's a question of your personal taste, whether you have a sweet tooth, or rather prefer desserts, which are not overloaded with sugar. I think that in general 'Magnolia Bakery' cupcakes are much sweeter, the muffin below the cream is a bit more firm and so is the cream itself. That's probably also the reason why after eating a 'Magnolia Bakery' cupcake you feel really saturated, however the 'Georgetown Cupcake' cupcake could be a never ending story.

There is nothing like a good glass of red wine, accompanying a nice dinner. Although I am not the biggest wine connoisseur, I like to have a glass of red wine now and then, either just while relaxing, with dinner or with a nice cheese. I read some books about wine, tried quite some different ones and I always try to learn something from my dad in this field.

Mac and Cheese, a MUST-try when you visit the US. Basically loaded with calories, containing macaroni pasta and a lot of cheeeeese. The basic version of that you can buy at any supermarket, which is really just a mix of macaroni and cheddar cheese to which you add boiled water..Et violà, there is your cliche American dinner.

Starting into the day with a nice brunch is the best thing you can do. Enjoying sun, life and the many different restaurants NYC has to offer. Cafe Orlin is a cute restaurant in East Village on St Marks Place, where you actually can find plenty of other restaurants. I picked that one though, because of its nice atmosphere, the feasible prices and because there you can sit outside and enjoy the last sunrays.
