Red Ant: Japanese restaurant, serving Ramen, pan fried noodles, buns and other specialties. Authentic atmosphere, especially when you sit at the bar and can have a glimpse into the kitchen. Price Range: 7-9€ for a dish
Good to Know: 1. Make a reservation on the weekend, otherwise there are long waiting times. 2. Try the pork belly bun, it's delicious. 3. The restaurant belongs to Mosquito, which is right around the corner and is a nice spot, too. 4. Try one of their mochis as dessert.

Saboc: Very nice and stylish Tapas restaurant that looks more expensive from outside, than it is. The small dishes (with a little twist ) on the menu are organized according to the Degree size they are cooked at. Which can range from raw (20°C) until 200°C. Nice and attentive waiters.
Price Range: 15-20€, dishes are 7-10€ Good to Know: 1. The small dishes are perfect for sharing, we had four 2. I loved the smoked squid as well as the cod ceviche.

Bermuth: Vibrant, loud but atmospheric bar/restaurant serving all kinds of traditional Spanish Tapas, such as pan con tomate, croquetas, patatas bravas etc. Price Range: 4-8€ for a portion of Tapas Good to Know: 1. Reservation only from 6 people onwards 2. The peppers with goat cheese, the boquerones and the pan con tomate is very recommendable.

Nomad: Hipsterish coffee place with great coffee. We chose an espresso base from the three on the board and ordered them as a flat white. Was perfect!

La Fabrica: Little take away place for Empanadas. You can have them warm, ready to eat, or take a bunch of them home. I only tried the one with spicy beef and I liked it a lot.

La Botifarra de Santa Maria: A little shop selling lot of different kinds of Manchego, Fuet and Llonganissa. Brought a of these back to Paris - all of their products are delicious!

El Magnifico: Also a good coffee place, more traditional and you can buy plenty of roasts to take home. Loved the cafe con leche with the little on the side.

traditional, cosy, comfortable atmosphere – you eat with your hands, which is a
great experience; 12-17€; Favourite dish: share the mixed platter; it is a
delicious combination of all kinds of Ethiopian dishes.

Good to Know: 1. Make a reservation at least one day in advance 2. I had the "veal stew", which sounds far more boring than it was. The soft and tender pieces of veal were served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with a bunch of aromatic mushrooms. Go for this! 3. If they have it, try the braised duck on poached quince or pear as a starter..heaven in your mouth! 4. I was just slightly disappointed by the dessert, because compared to the other dishes it was a bit simple.

Croq & Roll: A quite new restaurant serving mainly Spanish croquetas with many different fillings. My fav's were pork marinated in beer and chestnut & sweet potato. Its quite a big restaurant so don't worry about seating.
Price Range: 1,20€ per croquette.

Cafe del Sol: Last but no least, a cafe I like to visit every time I am in Barcelona, even though it appears to be a bit touristy. But their patatas bravas and the spot itself is perfect to enjoy the Barcelonian sun.
Price Range: 2-6€
Good to Know: Have a Clara (beer with lemonade) and some patatas bravas and your afternoon will be perfect.
