Dude, I can't get enough of grilled cheese sandwiches, I also can't get enough of Spanish food and ingredients.

The moment has come. You can finally try for yourself if you like my food or not. On 26 November Sophia from the Real Simple Food and I will be cooking for you.

Yes, you heard well. If you're living in Brussels (or if you want to travel to Brussels to see us) you can join us for a 4-course dinner inspired by the colours and tastes of autumn.

It's not purely a dinner, it's also about getting to know the ingredients, having a chat about food and our passion for it to then finally enjoy the evening in a convivial setting, over some food & good wine.

We'll keep it on a pay-as-you-wish basis, so it's up to you to value how much you enjoyed the evening and what it was worth to you.

The concept is easy, write an email to twokitchens.reservation@gmail.com, either alone, with friends, colleagues, whatever you wish and join us on Monday, 26 November from 19.30-22.00h in Sophia's cosy and beautiful appartment in Chatelain, Brussels.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!

Slow roasted tomatoes with ginger and garlic are a match made in heaven and even better with some homemade labne.

So, Florence is great. It’s amazing, it’s a buzzing, beautiful city that is overwhelming you with the amount of historical sights and museums it has to offer. Same with food, there is so many restaurants and little hidden spots where you can enjoy some delicious pizza, pasta, or, their famous Florentine steak (we were 3 girls and shared a piece of 1.4kg. You can do it! – ok, parts of it was bones, but still).

Restaurant Alexandre – A touch of New Nordic Cuisine in Brussels

Ok, so where do I start. I have so many impressions and feelings towards Restaurant Alexandre, which is located just on Rue du Midi that I have to be careful not to drool on my keyboard when thinking back to this outstanding lunch.

Bologna, a small student city in the North of Italy is a must-go destination for food lovers and for people, who want to visit an Italian city that is not overly crowded and flooded by tourists.

Let them drink Champagne!

This certainly was the storyline of my weekend in the blooming green and lovely area in the North-East of France. I did a lot of research before going, asking friends, looking on Instagram, blogs etc. But there wasn’t much in terms of blog travel guides that recommended some nicer and smaller restaurants, besides those ranking top 10 on trip advisor and mostly looking touristic.

I love those dishes that feed a whole crowd of people or which will last you for at least three lunches at work. Quiche is one of them and in addition, it's such a beautifully diverse dish that you can create up to your own wishes. Be it vegetarian, vegan, green, red, herby..whatever you want you can put into a quiche.

Tartes are a great thing, perfect for summer afternoons. Pair with vanilla ice cream, or cream, or yoghurt!

Two and two makes four and Italy plus Israel makes one amazing lunch. No, I didn’t have a glass of wine too much, but this is what is awaiting you at Racines in Brussels just on 26 April for lunch or dinner. Celebrating two unique cuisines that combine some incredible ingredients, chef Alaa Musa and Ugo Federico managed to turn a dream marriage into reality.

There is a number of restaurants you shouldn’t miss. SAN Sablon was kind of in the back of my head, as a restaurant I could visit one day but not as one that is a must-do, such as La Buvette (which I would always keep on my to-do list) or Humphrey (this I would cross from it). Not seeing SAN Sablon as a must-must-must-go is definitely a mistake, because you’ll miss out on something culinary impressing and beautiful.

Remember that Tarragon Pesto I made a few weeks ago? I finally used it, because somehow I didn’t manage to do so earlier.

Are you also tired of cities sometimes? Craving some fresh air, leaving the congested and loud streets that run through your neighborhood? See some nature and go for a walk that’s more than a tour through your local park?

Works with everything: burgers, meat, fish, potatoes, roasted veggies..everything. Love it, started to use it as my toothpaste as well.

Franschoek is together with Stellenbosch the wine region to-go in South Africa. First of all, you should take the route through Paarl to Franschoek, and go back via Stellenbosch, or the other way round. Like this, you'll see all the beautiful spots one should've seen and equally important, you'll cover all the food and wine spots one should've tried.

I think everyone who visited Cape Town, immediately fell in love with the city. It's not a city like Paris or Prague, where it's the buildings and streets that are just beautiful and stunning. In Cape Town, or the Mother City as it's also called, you'll be enchanted by the views: the ocean to the one side and the mountains to the other and nature in general, the sun, the vibe, everything.
