There is a number of restaurants you shouldn’t miss. SAN Sablon was kind of in the back of my head, as a restaurant I could visit one day but not as one that is a must-do, such as La Buvette (which I would always keep on my to-do list) or Humphrey (this I would cross from it). Not seeing SAN Sablon as a must-must-must-go is definitely a mistake, because you’ll miss out on something culinary impressing and beautiful.

Franschoek is together with Stellenbosch the wine region to-go in South Africa. First of all, you should take the route through Paarl to Franschoek, and go back via Stellenbosch, or the other way round. Like this, you'll see all the beautiful spots one should've seen and equally important, you'll cover all the food and wine spots one should've tried.

I think everyone who visited Cape Town, immediately fell in love with the city. It's not a city like Paris or Prague, where it's the buildings and streets that are just beautiful and stunning. In Cape Town, or the Mother City as it's also called, you'll be enchanted by the views: the ocean to the one side and the mountains to the other and nature in general, the sun, the vibe, everything.

I was a bit sceptic when I re-moved to Brussels. I lived here four years ago, for two months and to be honest, I wasn't a big fan. It was grey, rainy and not very exciting. To be fair, though, I wasn't in town for a single weekend, escaping to Berlin, Paris or Maastricht whenever I could.

This has now changed. I'm "stuck" here for a bit longer and I don't mind this at all. I have started looking for cafés, restaurants, bars and other nice places and I was quite surprised what Brussels has to offer.

Bordeaux is a lovely, historic little city in the South-West of France. With its proximity to the sea and famous for its wine regions, the city is a destination for many tourists from around the globe, but as well for French people themselves. Many even call it 'Little Paris', because it's as atmospheric and the architecture is very alike, just the stress is less with a smaller number of cars and buzzing sounds.

As it's a university city and a well-known location for Erasmus exchange, there is many young people, cool bars, modern cafés and restaurants. There is a river and as it's the case with many cities, life is centered mainly on the left river bank. There is a nice artsy area and some projects appearing on the right side, but that's rather an exception.
