Heute gibt es ein Rezept für Bananenkuchen mit frischen Erdbeeren. Bananenkuchen/Bananenbrot ist wirklich einer der Kuchen, für den man meistens alle Zutaten parat hat. Ausserdem, ist er schnell zusammengemischt; das einzige was etwas mehr Zeit benötigt ist das Backen im Ofen, die es aber wert ist.

You all knowhow important breakfasts are; not only because it supplies you with energy for the whole day, but also, because it prevents you of morning grumpiness and it is fun! 

Berlin is the city for having breakfast, I would say. During the week almost every cafe/restaurant offers at least a decent breakfast and on weekends you have plenty of buffet places, where you can have a huge brunch with scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, hummus, salads, meats and a lot more for 8-12€.

Diese einfache Vorspeise oder Beilage ist wieder das beste Beispiel dafür, dass Kochen nicht immer mit viel Aufwand verbunden ist und man auch mit wenigen Zutaten etwas Leckeres zaubern kann.

Pan con tomate, oder pa amb tomaquet auf Catalan - also einfaches Weissbrot mit Tomate, etwas Knoblauch, aromatischem Olivenöl und Meersalz. Es eignet sich ganz wunderbar als kleine Vorspeise an heissen Tagen.

This simple starter or side dish is again the best example that cooking is not always time-consuming and that you can whip up something delicious with just a few ingredients.

Pan con tomate, or pa amb tomaquet in Catalan - simple white bread with tomato, some garlic, aromatic olive oil and sea salt. It’s ideal as a small starter on hot days.
