Since winter is almost here and it is getting colder and colder, I have to look for some places where I can hang out, drink hot chocolate for hours and hours while reading a book or browsing the internet. 'Café Angelique' (click to get to webpage -> here) seems perfect for this. Located in West Village, close to Greenwich Village, it is located in a very pretty area with Washington Square nearby.
Supposedly the best Cannoli in town.. I can't tell, because I haven't tried any others, but inferring from the massive lines in front of the shop and the outlook of these Cannoli to others in Little Italy in Boston, they probably really are the most delicious in town.
Heute gibt es Erdnussbutterkekse für die Krümelmonster unter den Lesern. Ich wollte was schnelles backen, etwas was gut zu transportieren ist und nicht unbedingt im Kühlschrank gelagert werden muss. Da ich noch Erdnüsse und Erdnussbutter von einem anderen Kuchen (kommt noch ;)) übrig hatte fiel meine Wahl dann auf diese Kekse. Das Rezept stammt mal wieder aus der 'lecker bakery'.
